TOP TEN CHALLENGES OF THIS AGE

I wish to share with you in this post, the top ten challenges of this age. The essence of this information is simply to draw our attentions to our responsibility in building a better world for ourselves. Life is a precious gift from God, but what we do with our life is our gift to God and humanity. Looking around your dwelling place, certainly raises alarms about the degree of suffering people could be subjected to. We see some people living happily while others are overwhelmed in their troubles and difficulties. Should we leave it like that? Can't something be done about it? Can't we abate the burdens displayed all over certain people? I think it is possible.

There is multiplied poverty and suffering in the society today, chiefly because of negligence and lack of love. Life is ONLY beautiful for those who make it beautiful for others. Until this truth is accepted and imbibed by the general human race, difficulties will persist. If we will only take out some time daily to think about how we can as individuals make the world a better place, we too cannot escape completely, the scorge of pains prevalent in our world today.
Let us examine some of the challenges of our contemporary society:
(1) Poverty
(2) Bribery and corruotion
(3) Theft and deceit
(4) Illiteracy
(5) Selfishness
(6) Violence and terrorism
(7) Oppression and Slavery
(8) Murder and Assassination
(9) Injustice and Pervasion of truth
(10) Deviation from, and denial of God.
This list of the modern day public problems is endless. But waiting for the automatic correction of these anomalies is nothing but a mirage without voluntary individual inputs. It is time for each to think of a contribution to make, regardless of how minute, towards the minimization if not total eradication of these bumps on the universal wheel of communal cum happy living. A step is all it takes yo make a difference. He that offers succour to people cannot be without it. It is not possible to make people happy and not be happy yourself. A stitch in time saves nine. Where ever you find yourself, make your impact and keep succeeding. Together, we can make the world a better place. Unitedly, we can make life on earth worth living. SHALLOM!
